the apartment just before we left for Oxnard. yes, the mess is all mine.

the day before we left, Adan and i finally used the tickets for the wildlife park we purchased with the others but which no one used. it was great! much better than the zoo!
the cheetahs were up having fun while we went on the African safari ride. the ride was so cool! too bad my camera died. the pictures are on Adan's camera. this picture was taken after the ride. i ran to get the pic cos i was afraid the cheetahs would go back to sleep. haha

and the day before: tour around UCSD to take some pictures of the campus and we tried to go to torrey pines nature reserve but it was gettingdark and we had to pay $9 to park there so we sat in the car and watched the sunset.

library walk. deserted during the holidays. it's usually really packed. sort of like forum at NUS but more crowded.

it snowed in parts of Vegas the day before we left so the mountains were covered by it. beautiful!
our hotel, the venetian. it's great! the lady at the front desk said they're opening a branch in Singapore. don't know what it'll look like though.
the hotel where Maja and i watched the cabaret. omg we got the VIP seats so we were sitting right in front of the stage. like, we could sit at the table and rest our elbows on the stage. saw lots of boobies!
went to a buffet in the afternoon. it's an international buffet and it's only $17 per person! plus, once you pay, you can sit there the whole daythey won't chase you out. we paid for lunch but stayed till dinner. yum!

and before that: Vegas. stayed at Romita's the night after we got back from Vegas cos no one was at my place. Romita and her pink socks. she couldn't find her slippers and it was cold on the way back from Vegas so she bought these socks and wore them with gold heels!!!! omg it was soooo funny

this concludes my time in California. omg i miss that place alr. the guys are on their way back to Cali now. been crying so much my eyes are all puffy. horrible. i really hope the boys especially Adan will keep their word and come to Singapore to visit me. maybe i'll do grad sch there. we'll see.
dunno what to say now cos my brain's drawing up blanks. oh well. i'll see you guys in Singapore then. will upload pictures of Oxnard and New York soon! it snowed in new york!!!
