i went to toa payoh food court to study on wed and in the space of 2 hrs, 3 uncles came and talked to me. and it's damn funny cos all of them asked me about what i'm studying like they've never seen somebody study in ppublic before.

the 1st uncle, who's a Christian preacher from NZ, came and looked at my textbook (abnomral psychology) and asked me if it's any good cos he was on his way to popular to get some books. and then he told me he got his degree of theology at the Singapore Bible College and then wen of to popular.

the 2nd uncle came and sat at my table. i think he wanted to get inspiration for his 4-d numbers or something cos he just sat there holding his 4-d tickets and stared of into space. i think he felt compelled to make conversation with me so he asked me what i'm studying and told me good luck for my exams. haha

then this 3rd uncle is the weirdest of the 3. he just walked towards my table, and asked "hello! studying ah?" like he knows me and just bumped into me at toa payoh and walked off. then after a few minutes, he walked back and asked "what are you studying?" and then walked off after my reply.

are uncles from toa payoh more freindly than uncles from other places? cos i've never encountered this before. it's amusing though. haha but after a while, i was afraid that the uncle sitting at my table would feel compelled to make conversation with me again so i left him and his 4-d tickets in peace for mac's. nobody toalked to me there cos there weren't any uncles, just students. haha

i'm at marine parade lib now i it took me so bloody long to connect to my wireless@sg acc. initially, i couldn't log in with my username and password so a called them and they checked for me. but after that, i still couldn't log in and i called them again. so they changed my password. but i STILL couldn't log in. so they referred me to singtel. then the person i called said this is not the number to call for network enquiries so he referred me to the technical support. and then the technical support said i don't have a wireless singnet acc so they asked me to call back to the singnet enquiries to check if i have a wireless singnet acc AGAIN. by this time i was damn bloddy pissed alr. so i called the singnet person again and the person said i don't have one so i requested to create an acc but she said i can't cos it's under my dad's name so my dad has to call. LIKE WTH!!! DAMN FUCKING PISSED. so i called the 1st number again and they told me the provider at my location is very weak and asked me to create a new wireless acc. and after i created an acc., THEY DIDN'T SEND ME MY PASSWORD. so i had to call the OTHER PROVIDER for my password. what a waste of my 45 mins. bloody hell.
