today we went to eat dim sum brunch at this restaurant cos they're having this 79th anniversary discount thing. and we ordered SO MUCH! there were only 13 of us and my mum and aunt proceeded to order 4 plates of almost every single item in the dim sum menu. in addition to that, my uncle ordered 2 plates each of char siew, roast pork and roast chicken. everybody ate till the point of bursting i think. we were like, if cannot finish never mind la, can take away the rest. so imagine our dismay when the waitress told us that we can't take away the dim sum items cos they're on discount. all of us were like "WHAT! we have to finsh all of these??!!!" ya, so we sat there and rested and ate and rested till we managed to clear the plates one by one. phew.

luckily my aunt didn't get her wish of ordering a plate of fried rice or noodles. oh i think my aunt is amazing, the way she can eat so bloody much. according to my cousins, she can eat dinner with every single one of her family member at home. like, she'll eat with ping, then after ping finishes she'll eat with bin, then ting, then my uncle. so whenever my mum calls her, she'll be eating, and her meals last for about an hour. haha and the thing is, she's not fat at all! actually her whole family can eat a lot and all of them are so skinny! (except my uncle) that's why her family always get invited to eat buffets with us cos bringing them is like value for money. haha

went for mahjong training session at grandma's ytd and i got to play with darling kai kai! omg he's so adorable i can just squeeze him forever. haha weirdly, he likes us to call him "ah bui". and he's so greedy! he'll go to whoever has food. like, if you're eating, he'll stand in front of you and peer into your plate and just stand there staring till you feed him. so cute la! i seriously think i can play with him 24/7 and not get sick of it. haha i shall wait for xueer to post the pic on her blog and kope it.

my urge to watch friends is back, but not as strongly cos i've already watched every single episode so it's like hearing the same jokes. i need new shows man. i should go and get heroes 2 or something.

oh, ping was saying that she went online to help jiaxin book an aloha loyang chalet for her engagement party in june on the day they were available and they were already completely booked by noon! she went in at noon and there was none left. singaporeans are so scary la. yup, i just went to check. they're out. goodness..

oh! after learning french, i finally understand that line in the song lady marmalade! i alrd knew the meaning but now i know what the individual words mean!
"Voulez-vous coucher avec moi, ce soir" means:
would you sleep with me, this night/tonight.

this is what i call application man. i shall listen to more french songs and try to decipher their meanings. haha
