"We are family! Bella Gabriel Xiuli and me!"

Last 2 days in Orlando were spent in Seaworld and Universal Island of Adventure. It was my firs time there! damn loser, I know, but at least I went there before I left.
Went to Universal Island of Adventure right after returning our IDs and uniforms. and before that we had to go there first to get our free tickets using our ID so it was quite troublesome. believe me, lugging all our uniforms and walking all the way to universal from the trolley stop and back is no joke. and then it rained. and because we all had our uniforms with us and our Seaworld/Aquatica rain gear, we put them on for the very last time. this is Annabella in my Seaworld rain gear. doesn't she look like Paddington Bear? haha the aquatica rain gear is so much cooler and nicer can! if you wanna see it, go and ask xiuli cos she still has it.
and after we returned our IDs and stuff and went back it was still raining so we sought shelter and had lunch at IHOP! it stands for International House of Pancakes by the way.
sad to say none of us had the pancakes though Bella said it's really really good. the other items n the menu are good too! this was what Xiuli and Gabriel shared: ribs. yum yum!
what Bella and I shared

after eating to our hearts' content, we went to universal to take their roller coasters.
first to Marvel land, where all the rides are inspired by Marvel comic characters. the Spiderman ride was good!!
the Incredible Hulk ride, which is damn good too. this is the beginning of the ride where they shoot you out from this tube thing. shiok!
the Doctor Doom ride, it shoots you up and then drops you down. quite fun, but Sheikra is much better! which reminds me, i haven't gotten the pictures we took at Busch Gardens yet. i love the rides there!
this character, forgot what's his name, was quite reluctant to take a picture with Gabriel, as you can tell.
Cyclops and Wolverine. check out the fake six-packs. i bet they have beer bellies underneath them.
the Poseidon ride. omg the effects are damn good!
the Dueling Dragons roller coaster. it works like this: when you get in line, you choose which dragon you want to take, ice or fire, and when you get on the roller coaster, the 2 coasters set off simultaneously and there's a point where they'll rush headlong towards each other and at the very last instant both of the coasters will shoot upwards and do a 360 turn. it's damn good la. like when you sit in the 1st row and see the other coaster coming at full speed towards you it's like OMG.
then our very last day in Orlando, we went to where else? Seaworld, of course, like we haven't been sick of it. Bella and I took the Sky Tower ride. Bella didn't know that it revolves so she was like trying to choose the best seat. HAHAHAHAHAHAHA
Up, up and away! the Shamu stadium from above.

Kraken from above. we went to take it one last time that night. it's so much better at night!
Hospitality Centre from above.
and then I went to the Deli for one last time and we decided to eat there. I was all set to pay for this but Kelly gave it to me for free! and this is super huge can! i love to see the look on people's faces when we serve it to them. their eyes will just go round and they'll go "Wow". haha both of us shared and still couldn't finish this. oh, this is the Hospitality Beef Stew. Bella was like "this looks so different from when you bring it home in the styrofoam cups!"
and so, goodbye Orlando and hello New York! some tidbits from our New York trip: Niagara Falls and the Corning Glass Museum. shall upload more pictures next time. oh, i've uploaded pictures of Niagara Falls on my facebook so go take a look if you want. it's really beautiful! too bad we couldn't go over to Canada to look at it cos our friends who went said that it's so much more beautiful on the Canadian side.on the "Maid of the Mist" ride.
family picture!

Corning Glass Museum.
ok that's all for this post. i'm currently in San Francisco now to await for the arrival of my DS-2019 and i'll be flying to Vancouver tmr evening to apply for a new visa. Ahhhh the jet-setting life I lead. Yay meeting Shan later! i met her and Deon yesterday and we spent the day slacking around and cooked bak kut teh with the spice packet I inherited from the Singporeans. Remember, get this brand called Seah's Spices. it's damn good! Yun Ling's dad owns that company. She's so lucky!ok, wish me luck for my visa! Bye!
