i've officially attended the 1st lects of all my classes. neurosci of memory sounds interesting and i've never seen so many familiar faces and known so many people in one class! that's being in FASS for you. we're supposed to write a psych book about neurobiology and learning and/or memory in groups of 5. so each person has to write a chapter of about 3000 words and there should be an intro chapter written by the whole group. and before we start researching for the book we have to meet our prof who's going to pretend to be a publisher and we're supposed to pitch our book topic to him. cool huh? looking forward to it actually. and i'm in the same group as brian for the 3rd time so it should be quite ok.

for other news, been memorizing a few hiragana characters everyday and hopefully i'll learn them all by wed when we start learning katakana. been doing japanese xi zi everyday. hahaha

french is ok. i thought francesca wouldn't be very good seeing as how she left everything to the last minute while coordinating the immersion, she's quite fun as a teacher. she let us listen to this french song today and it's actually a modern song! not those classic 50's songs they always let us listen to in the previous french classes.and i think i've improved in my french listening. the immersion really helped!

just got my tut balloting results. 5-day week this sem! damn. none of my classes start before 12 though and i only have 1 hour of lessons on fri and 2 hours on thurs! well, at least it forces me to study more since i'll already be in sch.

ok enough rambling on about my boring classes. the mugging starts now. i am SO looking forward to it.
