My dad asked me if i wanted a new laptop ytd cos he thinks it'll be too big and heavy for me to bring to the US. I told him no even though my mind was screaming "YES I WANT A NEW LAPTOP!" am i a good daughter or what? haha

anyway, the weekend was spent with the bandies! =)
studied on sat and went to eat at Sha ville (Shaun's recommendation), which serves good food at a fraction of the price. had really inappropriate dinner conversations, like childbirth and stuff. shaun (Snapper Sir) was being unusually horny after just 1 alcoholic drink. haha

sunday was Dina's surprise party! we went to her place and slacked while waiting for her to come back after being lured out of her house by Halimah. Took some quite unglam pics of Dina through her window when she was walking towards her place. i think Shan will post those pics up on her blog. haha anyway, she was so surprised to see us there, the look on her face was priceless!

then we went to the airport to welcome Marcus/hamster/SPANKY99/merster back from Europe! His sideburns are damn funny! anyway, we could tell that his mum missed him a lot. awwwww.... i was trying to apply the french i learnt by eavesdropping on this french woman but i could only catch 2 words. haha yes i'm lousy! saw a hot french air crew coming out while waiting for marc. yum! i think i'm turning into a francophile. definitely applying for french immersion next year!

i told yanni that i got $5 for participating in a psych expt. i was pretty smug about it. and she said "you went all the way to sch for the $5??" hmmm now that she put it that way..... i can be such an idiot sometimes. tsk.

yay got $500 from the gov! that'll definitely go towards my US fund. oh and they don't usually issue 2 visas of the same kind at 1 shot so i will still have to apply for my visa to be extended even if i get my acceptance package early. bleah.
