oh man i can't go for the behavioral therapist job cos i'll be going away! bleah. nvm, i shall apply for it again when i come back. i got 5 bucks today for participating in a psychology expt. the person conducting the $50 one still haven't replied me despite my 2 emails to him. maybe i should spam his mailbox till he replies. haha anyway, there's another study that pays $150!!! i think they'll deprive you of sleep and stick you into an fMRI scanner while you do tasks and i think you're required to stay overnight at the hospital to be monitored. too bad i can't sign up for it cos they only want right-handers. bleah. so the moral of the story is: look out for psych expts to take part in. they can pay quite a lot, you're not required to do much and they can be quite fun!

i still can't seem to be able to get down to studying. i think it's mostly cos i only have 3 exams to sit for this sem and 2 of them are open book and the remaining one is an mcq+short ans exam. moreover, one of my lecturers said that we shouldn't revise too much for his paper cos we'll only get angry at him for setting something that doesn't require memory work. haha oh and he gave a valuable tip! which is, if you study right before you fall asleep, make sure you're studying the correct thing cos your memory is consolidated during sleep so if you learn the wrong thing right before you sleep, it will be very hard to unlearn it. ok my dad's here. ciao!
