hello i'm back again. been working everyday for the past 4 days and work is tiring to say the least. because last weekend was memorial day weekend, it was crazy for the whole weekend. there're lines for food every second and i didn't know getting drinks for guests can be back-breaking. moreover, they put me alone in diswashing for closing on my second day of work and i had absolutely no idea what to do, plus dishwashing is my least favourite chore.

luckily, the people there at my workplace are extremely nice and they help me out whenever i can. like, they help me scrub floors and wash the dises and take out the garbage. oh, when the guy took me out to show me where to bring the rubbish and the garbage juice got splashed onto my leg, i thought i'd died and gone to hell. haha

anyway, ya the people at my workplace are very nice and they come from all over! there're people from thailand, philippines, haiti, dominican republic, peru, etc. i'm theonly singaporean here, which is good cosi don't wanna just know singaporeans. the locals are very nice too and there're lots of minors working over here. there's this guy who i think is a minor and he likes to flirt with all the girls. like, he'll stand really close to me when he talks to me and he's damn funny la. like he's the perfect example of the typical highschool class clown and because he didn't bring his cap to work one day, he had to wear a hairnet. hahahaha

oh, there's this cook who i think is cute! i think i have a crush on him. i've only had one conversation with him and i actually smile whenever i think of the conversation. like wth la. omg i feel like i'm 14 all over again.

anyway, we celerated yilin's birthday yesterday night! she's 24 already!

the limo parked outside our balconyour neighbours cooked bak kut teh and invited us over to have some! one of the girls' dad owns a spice company so she brought the bak kut teh spice bags from home. buy Seah brand bak kut teh spices ok? they're really good!

our neighbours' shoes. so many right? who says 7 pairs is a lot? hmmm but they have 5 people. hahathe mac drive thru there. very nice right?the strawberries here are HUGEmy macaroni chicken soup that i cooked from scratch. and i have to say, it's damn good!

left work relatively early yesterday so i walked by myself along the roads around seaworld trying to look for a shorter way to the bus stop from my work place and these were what i saw. and i bumped into yilin and meishan so i went with them to publix to get groceries and over there we bumoed into yun ling, bing zhen and pui xin! what a coincidence layilin's birthday celebration! she saw them buy the cake at publix lor. then they snuck into our room to decorate the cake with cornflakes spelling her name and then went back next door to "surprise" her. everybody got damn high yesterday la. meishanthe birthday cake after we attacked it.

and then we gave the leftovers to the guys next door to them cos one of the girls like one of the guys there. so disgusting la! but we cut them up to disguise the grossness. haha
