Totally orgasmic

The pictures are in reverse order so scroll to the last picture to start. hahaha

At Orchard Central, we saw this tart shop with gorgeous tarts and bought 3 slices with our Tart Fund. They disappeared in about 3 mins. Did I mention that we were full?

Dessert: Yuzu sorbet. Really refreshing and light. Perfect end to a perfect meal. :) We were so full we could barely move, so we decided to walk to Orchard Central. Final bill was about $500 but totally worth it.

The 3rd maki!

The 2nd maki!

The remains of my fish.

The soup with oysters and mushrooms in it. The oyster's huge! Really helped to get rid of the gelat-ness of the fish and clear the palate for the next dish.

Some fish in a sweet sauce. One fish each! It gets kinda gelat after a while cos the sauce is really sweet but the chef was really meticulous in the planning of the order of the dishes and he served us this clear and light soup next.

Some type of maki. Totally delicious. We had 3 types of maki and they were so good I thought about them the whole of the next day. *slurp*

Soft-shell crab tempura with roe!!!!!!

Japanese cucumber with fermented beans. Nice coupling. And the cucumbers taste less cucumber-y than the ones we usually have if you know what I mean.

Not sure what this is. I think some kinda fish, also raw and it's REALLY GOOD. Love the sauce. Dina and I wanted to just drink it after finishing the fish cos it was so good.

Sashimi platter! Not a big fan of raw fish but it's good! There's of course the usual tuna and salmon but also swordfish and yellowtail (?) and some other fish.

Kaiho! We started with these mee tai mak looking fish coupled with shrimp roe. It tastes pretty ok and have a nice texture but try to avoid looking into their eyes before putting them in your mouth.
