CNY is here and i have to type my essay which is due next tues. sian sian sian..... and i still have no idea what to write! like, i have a faint idea but it hasn't crystallized. bleah.

what makes human beings so special? our use of language for communication, our ability to consciously make plans for the future, our ability to empathize with people, our abnormally large brain, our "moral centers" (which enables us to look after people who are unrelated to us), our shared responsibilities to care for our young, the long duration of dependency on our parents, our innate curiosity of the "why" and "how", like, we're not satisfied with just knowing what works but we wanna know WHY it works -> ability to infer causation. hmmm i think that's about it. now to link these to the brain structure. arghhhhhhhhh
